Based on numerous visits to Cracker Barrels around the country this one was exactly as expected. Good service, good food, large portions at fair prices. And I always enjoy their coffee. Hard to ask much more from a restaurant. Just as an aside, our server, I'm sorry I've forgotten her name, was quite good. She talked loud enough, plainly enough and slow enough that even through a mask she was easy to understand. Something that isn't all that common today.
We feel the service has slipped a little. And the prices went up and the portions went down. Not the old Cracker barrel of old.
Awful. Meatloaf undercooked. cornbread not cooked enough. Stale biscuits. No refill of drink offered. Waiters talking to friends. Didn't come back. No more lady lake Cracker Barrel!
Arrived for an early dinner after a long doctor's appointment. Had to rest on my rolator when checking in for a table, and asked for something close. The greeter was very in tune with my not feeling like walking, and she put us at the first table right inside the dining room. Could not have been a more comfy and convenient spot for us. Our server was prompt, efficient, and very friendly. We had our meals served quickly, and everything was cooked perfectly, and it was hot! We could feel the special interest they had for our comfort and it was very appreciated. We will definitely remember this location and their special customer service!
Great place to eat and the staff was wonderful! Was like having a meal with our family, you gotta go and enjoy! PS: we just retired / moved here (2 weeks now) and it was the first restaurant we ate out at.....gonna be one heck of a retirement if all the folks here are as nice as the Cracker Barrel staff.
