The restaurant was not very busy and the service was pretty bad. We were seated quickly and the initial drink order was delivered pretty quickly. Our food order was taken right away and it went down hill from there. Our waitress Lynn disappeared and some young girl brought our food out. Three items were missing and she never brought them to us. One missing item prevented one guest from being able to start eating. When we asked the young lady, who delivered our food to help us out, (because our waitress seriously disappeared) she told us that she was NOT our waitress and did not offer to bring our missing items. I asked her to send our waitress out. When our server finally did come back to our table, she was upset with us for asking her to bring our missing items. She literally threw the missing salad onto the table and said "I'm trying ladies." All in all, the service was rude and not okay. There was no reason to respond to our requests in the way they did. We were a very pleasant group and didn't deserve that.
I would give it a 5 but it was way too busy the day we visited! Drinks were good and chilled. Bathrooms were clean and staff were all polite and friendly too. They communicated in a timely manner and made sure we were taken care of! We would love to go back when they are less busy at different day and time of the week.
Had lunch with friends, was busy but we had a great waitress(Mary)who took very good care of us. Food was very good, everyone had a good time. Would like to have seen a few craft beers on the menu!
All employees wearing masks properly. Sat at the bar and decided to try the Shepard's pie. I'm so glad I did! Huge portion, absolutely some of the best I've ever had! It was a tough decision, because the fried chicken here is awesome as well. Definitely going back for more!
We absolutely love McCall’s but, on Friday, 2/26, six of us met to celebrate a friends birthday. We wanted to sit outside so asked the waitress if we could move two chairs so we could sit together and were told no only four to a table. We then moved two tables together and were told no that wasn’t allowed. I said that I’d been there numerous times and saw tables pushed together with multiple patrons enjoying themselves. I was told that was no longer allowed and to put the tables back. We ended up sitting girls at one table guys at another. Shortly after placing our drink orders and getting menus, four people came in and sat at a table next to us only to have two more join them and pull two more chairs up so they could all sit together. I went in to see the manager and explained what had happened to us and asked why no one made them aware of the four person to a table limit when we couldn’t and also could not put a table together. She rudely asked me what I expected her to do??? After talking to her further and letting her know how unhappy we were about it she went out there and said only four people to a table, but they could stay. She then came over to us and said she talked to them but, because only four of them were eating, the other two could stay. Well they all ordered and ate. Needless to say we were upset since we couldn’t put two tables together or move two more chairs to the table so we could all sit together for our friends birthday. We assured the waitress over and over that we weren’t upset with her because we knew she was only doing as instructed, but were upset over the double standard.
