Wait staff excellent, food a little bland for Italian, ravioli look like Chinese dumplings, meatball needs seasoning
Always great food!
On September 25, 2020 we had dinner at Mom & Dad's Italian Restaurant and it was outstanding. Russ (my husband) ordered the Chicken Parmesan and I ordered the Fish Piccata with Capers and Angel Hair Pasta. My fish was huge and cooked perfect and my pasta was also cooked to perfection. We also liked the cozy atmosphere. The waiters and waitresses were so nice and had great personalities and also worked with each other really good. When we finished our dinner there was people waiting to be seated. Thank you to Annette Spanks for telling us about this place and yes the bread was delicious and and tasted like Nana's. We had a wonderful dining experience and we will return soon.
Service was good which is why I gave it 2 stars. The bread was good as was the salad dressing, house italian. Now the pastas, had penne and meatballs. Penne cooked well but the sauce had zero flavor. The meatballs had even less than zero flavor if that's even possible. Another in the party had angel hair with meat sauce. Again pasta cooked well but sauce was lacking any flavor. Another in the party had meat ravioli with meat sauce. I think you know how the sauce was. The ravioli pasta was supper thin so had no pasta flavor. The meat filled had mostly sausage which was at best a weak sausage. It was a very disappointing meal because we have driven by many times but always at a time that they weren't open. The vibe of the place is really good though. Smelled good walking in. Really thought we had found a good place but unfortunately not. Feel no reason to go back.
Great seafood, reasonable prices, good italian sauces. We thought that the decor was cute and had some funny accents! Family, independent atmosphere and their food is creative.
